Who can submit?
Anyone who identifies as part of a diasporic Balkan community, although we prioritize women and marginalized community members.
What can I submit?
We accept submissions for short fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, reviews, interviews, and visual art (photography, painting, digital art, traditional drawings, textile art, etc.) We accept previously published works.
How often can I submit?
We accept up to 3 submissions of written works of any category, in addition to up to 3 submissions of visual artworks from one person or collective during one submission period.
If accepted, authors will receive a free copy of the digital issue.
Short Fiction/Creative Nonfiction:
Works of fiction with a maximum word count of 3000 words.
Each poem must be within a 3 page limit.
We accept reviews of books, film, music, and pop culture made by Balkan creators either based in the Balkans or abroad.
We accept interviews with Balkan artists, icons, and persons of interest.
We accept images of any visual art. Please make sure that the quality is high enough to be viewed clearly. Examples of visual art we accept include: photography, painting, digital art, traditional drawings, textile art, etc.
